St John's Deptford

We are a friendly and informal church who worship together on Sundays at 10.30am and 6.30pm – come and join us!

Our congregation includes a diverse age range and many different cultures. We use the prayers and services of the Church of England with a mix of traditional organ hymns and more modern songs led by musicians. We are evangelical with a strong commitment to bible teaching, prayer and mission.

During the morning service there is a supervised creche (under 5s), Sunday School (primary ages) and youth (secondary ages) except on the first Sunday of the month when all ages worship together.

The evening service is informal with a sermon, hymns and songs and Holy Communion on the first Sunday.

St. John’s is a favourite church for weddings. It is also a popular venue for special events and services. There are 2 rooms available for hire – see Hall Bookings for further details and to get in touch.
