We are an open-hearted and open-minded congregation that celebrates the gift of life and serves God and our community.
The Church of the Ascension Blackheath is a place for young and old, women and men, gay and straight, believers, doubters and the curious. We meet every Sunday for Eucharist at 10:30 with Sunday School, Messy Church and Choir on certain weeks of the month.
We are an inclusive church where people who want to get involved can. We believe our faith leads us to get involved with the community around us and with issues in the wider world. Church is more than just the building. It is a community that seeks to live out one simple aim – to love God and to love our neighbour.
