The Good Samaritan is such a common phrase that is understood by churchgoers and non-churchgoers alike - everyone can see the truth and the value of Jesus' teaching. In 2019 we need God to raise up individuals in our communities who will look with compassion on those who are in need and we need those who will be prepared to make sacrifices for the sake of others. It's another great image in our stained glass window that God uniquely emphasising for all of us who call St John's our home and our church - let's take up the challenge to be Good Samaritans  in new ways in 2019
